Hair dyeing with folk remedies
Hair dyeing with folk remedies; how can you use them appropriately at home? Every woman can want to change – to be different, to be a little better than yesterday, and perhaps to change her life completely. Changes start with your appearance. Regular coloring with chemical substances hurts the condition of the hair and its health in general. For example, during pregnancy, I completely abandoned such experiments with my appearance, only using a rinse with chamomile to give my hair a golden tint. After all, such natural dyes are entirely harmless; they only give different shades, shine, and silkiness. The only drawback is that the stains wash off after a few weeks. Therefore, to preserve the color, hair dyeing with folk remedies is carried out regularly.
What you need to know when hair dyeing with folk remedies
- Dyeing thin and thin strands requires less color and time than thick and thick hair.
- Apply natural dyes to clean, damp hair with a brush, sponge, or cotton swab.
- Before the procedure, put a plastic wrap over your shoulders and put on protective gloves.
- Part your hair and start applying from root to tip.
- After use, wrap the head in cellophane and warm it with a towel.
Hair dyeing with folk remedies henna and Basma
Basma is a greenish-grey color of indigo leaves in a crushed state (Indigo era is a plant of the legume family from India, cultivated for its blue dye).
On the other hand, Henna looks like dried leaves of yellow-green alkanes or red-orange Lavonia, also crushed.
Both colors contain tannins, which can nourish the scalp, strengthen the roots, promote growth and give the hair shine and strength.
But not all hair types can be dyed with Henna. Therefore, it is recommended to use it if a woman has naturally dark blonde or chestnut hair. But discoloration after Henna has been used becomes carrot red; golden blondes become bright red; Henna is not suitable for brunettes at all – the curls remain black. If they were previously subjected to a perm, then the time for exposure to Henna should be shortened since the color of curly hair will “fix” faster. It is advisable to dilute the Henna not with ordinary water but with fermented baked milk or kefir to paint evenly over the strands. When robust tea broth is added to the henna solution, a light chestnut color is obtained (2 teaspoons of tea leaves per 200 g of water); when dry rhubarb leaves (3 g) are added – dark chestnut. To achieve a cherry shade, Henna is not diluted with hot water but with Cahors, heated to 70 ° C.
Do not use pure Basma.
After which, the hair may turn turquoise or green. It has to be mixed with Henna to create a variety of brown shades. You need 25 to 100 g of powder of both colors (the amount depends on the length of the hair). With an equal ratio, we get a rich chestnut color, with a balance of Henna and Basma 1: 2 – black, 2: 1 – a luxurious bronze shade. Rub them with a wooden spoon into a glass container with hot coffee, hot water, or red wine. Add glycerin, linseed extract, or shampoo to the slurry to get a more even paint.
So that after the operation, there will not be a bright yellow strip left on the forehead along the hairline, the skin is lubricated with mineral oil. Apply the prepared mixture to pre-washed, damp strands. Start by parting and coating the ends of the hair with 1/3 of the already diluted gral residue with hot water. Cover the head with cellophane and warm with a terry towel. The exposure time of the paint is 10-40 minutes (light tone) and from 60 to 90 minutes (dark colors).
To make your blonde hair light brown with a copper color, use the following combination for rinsing:
- Pour the crushed rhubarb roots (2 tablespoons) into a glass of cold water.
- Boil for twenty minutes.
- Do not forget to stir constantly, calm, and strain.
Decoction of linden flowers is prepared similarly – only curls after which will not be golden but chestnut. Can achieve a deep dark color with sage leaves. Can dye even gray hair. The recipe is simple: brew 4 tbsp. Ingredients with a glass of water and apply to the strands every day.
Hair dye with onion peel
To give your hair a dark brown shade, rinse it daily with a strong performance peel. And vice versa: to make the strands acquire a bright golden color, use a weak decoction. If you want to paint over gray hair on dark brown hair, prepare a very strong decoction by pouring half a glass of peel with 300 ml of boiling water, then cook the mixture for 20 minutes and add 2 tbsp. Glycerin.
Chamomile hair dye – for golden color
To lighten dark hair, add chamomile infusion (1 tablespoon per 100 g boiling water) to the hot henna mixture. Another recipe for painting gray hair is to brew 200 g of flowers with half a liter of boiling water and leave for two hours. Then stir with 3 tbsp. Glycerin. Spread the composition on the head, cover with a plastic cap, insulate and keep for an hour. Thus, it can color gray hair golden.
Recipe with vodka and peroxide for hair dyeing with folk remedies
Pour one and a half cups of flowers with 800 ml of vodka. Insist for 14 days, and then add hydrogen peroxide (50 g) to the infusion. Apply to clean and dry hair, keep for thirty minutes, and rinse with water and shampoo.
If you decide to lighten dark strands a little, rinse them after the usual wash: this way, they will be not only golden but also thick, shiny, and silky. You can also prepare the following mixture: brew 1 cup of chamomile with 300 ml of boiling water, leave for an hour, strain and pour in 50 g of peroxide. The composition is spread on dry hair, kept for half an hour, and rinsed thoroughly.
There is no harm from these natural dyes! They will not only be a great way to change your hair color but also the right solution for your health!
