Happy 2nd Birthday Dominic

My handsome little man turned two today! My nephews are the loves of my life. When Henry was born I thought, “this can’t get any better”. Then a year later I realized it could because Dominic arrived! 

Dominic is such a serious little boy that when you get his smiles, hugs or kisses it’s really special. A couple of months ago Dominic and I were face-timing, and all of a sudden he said “Gaby” and started talking. 

I was shocked. 

I had totally forgotten that he’s a real person – I always associated him with being the baby. It makes me so happy to hear him say my name and recognize who I am. 

One of the highlights of my Florida trip this past month was babysitting Dominic and Henry. The best part of babysitting was snuggling with Dominic on the couch and watching Cars. 

I wish I could be there for every birthday and every holiday. Unfortunately, I have to send my love from afar.

Dominic, no matter how far away I am I will always be there for you.
