Union Square Cafe

My family and I are big Danny Meyer’s fans. Danny is a NYC restaurant owner whose restaurants are some of the top ranked places to eat in the city. I had never been to Union Square Cafe, his first restaurant,  and I was excited to try it out when my mom said it was an institution. I’m very much a pasta person and was incredibly pleased with the ragu. Unfortunately, the waiter initially brought out a ragu with cheese on it so we had to send it back. That was the only disappointment of the night – otherwise, everything was delicious.
