I have lived in New York my entire life. 

I grew up in Long Island, went to Barnard College and stayed in NYC to live – in 25 years of being a New Yorker I have never seen a winter quite like this. 

Now, each day I plan my outfits around my snow boots. 

 I’m constantly impressed by the durability of my Doc Martens. I’ve really had to expand my winter boot options and I’m glad to know that my Docs can hold up in the snow. 

Another tip for surviving the polar vortex?

Layering. 

I’m always bundled up to the max. 

I can’t wait for the days when the temperature reaches 30 degrees and I can go from triple layers to double.
