Sometimes, I like to remember life before all the weather did was snow. NYC was pretty and nice once, I promise.
On another note, JK Rowling has fallen a notch on my awesomeness scale due to an interview she did with Emma Watson for Wonderland magazine. In the interview JK states,
“I wrote the Hermione/Ron relationship as a form of wish fulfillment. That’s how it was conceived, really,” Rowling says in the interview. “For reasons that have very little to do with literature and far more to do with me clinging to the plot as I first imagined it, Hermione ended up with Ron.”
“I know, I’m sorry,” she adds. “I can hear the rage and fury it might cause some fans, but if I’m absolutely honest, distance has given me perspective on that. It was a choice I made for very personal reasons, not for reasons of credibility. Am I breaking people’s hearts by saying this? I hope not.”
To answer your question JK, yes, you are breaking my heart – Hermione and Ron are perfect together. Had you wed Hermione and Harry I would have been truly and utterly devastated with the series. I mean, talk about an obvious plot line!
JK I have one thing to say to you – you already wrote the books. Oh, and you already made all seven movies. Ron and Hermione are together forever in literature, and cinematic history, and there’s nothing you can do about it. So, how about letting it lie and not saying things just to get back in the limelight?
I’m sorry, I’m just super upset about this blasphemy.
