I am wearing all J. Crew/ Madewell here. I usually try to mix it up a lot more but it just happened this way. Obviously they are two of my favorite stores, so an outfit combination between the two wasn’t too far fetched. The post is entitled Mickey after Millard (aka Mickey) Drexler, the CEO of J. Crew. Clearly, I’m loving all the stuff they’re doing.

I did a little DIY project the other weekend on the bracelets I bought from the Dannijo sale. Above is what it looked like before and below is how I spruced it up! What do you think?
Below is my outfit from last week. Very relaxed. It was an outfit I wore to go home for a day to hang with my parents (I know I’m so cool).

These shoes I bought at a Shoe Inn sale in East Hampton several years ago. I also have them in bright turquoise. I really like the fact that they are plain loafers, but the vibrant color really makes the shoe unique. They were very inexpensive. At the end of each summer, out in East Hampton, the Shoe Inn, a chain of shoe stores, has this huge blow out sale with all their left-over inventory. Sometimes you can find great things and sometimes not, it’s very hit or miss. However, the prices are unbeatable so you should definitely check it out if you get a chance. It usually happens in late August for several weeks.

This weekend I’m going shopping with one of my best friends from home. I’m so excited, we’re going to make it an all day intensive experience, there will be plenty of pictures to come. My list of goodies I want to purchase are as follows:
1. Pair of low top converse shoes in blue
2. Simple black wedges (preferably a smaller wedge)
3. Bright colored clothing
4. Vintage crystal jewelery
I guess we’ll see how successful I am.
On Sunday there is a Korean Art exhibit down here in Soho that the BF and I want to go to and then pick up some brunch. A very fun filled weekend!
And… it’s almost a week until I got to Florida! Also, to top it all off, there’s a new B&S this weekend on Sunday at 10pm. I’m so excited!
