I am extremely excited to announce that we found an apartment! 

Goodbye studio. 

Hello one bedroom. 

After giving up the search, and then redefining our specifications, the BF and I were able to find what we wanted. 

I have to say, looking for an apartment was much harder than I expected. 

For me, parting with our current neighborhood seemed unfathomable. 

(If you couldn’t tell I’m not good with change). 

There was much debate about whether or not we should put in an application for the one bedroom, or stay where we are. After deliberating, however, we decided it was the right choice to move on. 

It was like ripping off a band-aid.

Now that we’ve been approved, and the lease is signed, I cannot wait to move in! 

Although we don’t leave until August 1st, I’m already planning how to decorate our new space. 

Most important? 

A comfortable couch. 

I cannot believe this is real.
