Free City x Gap

When I was younger I was enamored with the brand Free City. I’d often see people wearing the sweatshirts and sweatpants in the Hamptons and begged my mom to buy me some items. At the time each piece was about 200+ dollars, and I was fourteen years old, so naturally my mom said no. However, when I was at sleep away camp, a care package arrived from my mom and it contained one of the sweatshirts. I cannot tell you how excited I was. I’ve been in love with the brand ever since. 

I had no idea Free City was collaborating with Gap until I saw an ad for the collection in my Instagram feed. I was hesitant at first to buy the products because I figured the materials wouldn’t be as soft as their normal clothes (seeing as the prices were so much less expensive than the regular Free City clothing). However, I’m pleased to say I was wrong! Every item I’ve purchased is super soft. This is the one time even my fiancé supported my spending because I wear my old Free City clothes all the time. 

I’m so happy I stumbled upon this collaboration. Not only because I love the clothing but also because it brought back some fun memories.
