Carmine's

The BF and I have two favorite restaurants in NYC, one is Korean and the other is Italian. Surprisingly enough, our favorite Italian restaurant is none other than a chain.

It’s as shocking to us as it is to you. 

Carmine’s, an Italian restaurant chain throughout the US, has hands down the most delicious Italian food. When we lived in our studio apartment on the Upper Westside, the BF and I were able to order in from there and save the leftovers for days – the benefits of ordering from a family style restaurant. 

One of the things I miss most from our old neighborhood is our proximity to Carmine’s.

My favorite dish is the rigatoni pomodoro. I don’t know what they do to those tomatoes but they’re damn delicious. 

Do not be fooled by this restaurant’s multiple outposts, it really is incredible food.
