Adlon

Our last night in Berlin we went to an uber fancy hotel called the Adlon. We dined, my parents wined, and I ate tons of desserts. It was one of those restaurants where they serve you specials from the chef… that’s when you know you’ve hit it big.

I really want to label what all the food is… but I forgot. Instead you’ll get my own personal interpretation of the plates.

The plate above contained all meatless things except for that gelatinous thingie… which I didn’t eat because I’m a born again Pescatrian ( I used to be one in college). The ice cream looking glob on top of the white square is tomato sorbet on some type of mozzarella cheese that isn’t really mozzarella cheese… do I make any sense? And yes, you read correctly, it’s tomato sorbet.

Cotton candy and ice cream pops

I’d like to point out that those weren’t even the main desserts. Those were the chef’s specials for the night (my type of restaurant).

Let’s say goodbye to Berlin right where we started, The Brandenburg Gate. As they say in Germany, “Adieu Berlin, Guten Tag Amsterdam”.

Highlights of that night include:

1) Eating eating a variety of items I had no idea of, only to find out that they were delicious (I’ll literally eat anything)

2) Dessert, dessert, dessert
