 One of my best friends is getting married! It’s hard to believe that someone I played tennis with as a 12 year old is getting hitched. 

As a bridesmaid (so honored) we were tasked with pinning different ideas to some wedding pinterest boards. My natural instinct was to pin anything Harry Potter related. Well, not surprisingly, my friend chose to have a Harry Potter themed engagement party! I say not surprisingly because several years ago the two of us took a special trip to Harry Potter World for the DVD release of the last movie. Needless to say, she is as obsessed with Harry Potter as I am – well, maybe not as obsessed. 

This gathering was truly spectacular. Her family, and the groom’s family, put together the most beautiful party. The event was chock-full of little Harry Potter details – sorting hat caramels and butterbeer cupcakes to name a few examples. 

It was a magical night.
