So Delicious

Sunday, November 30, 2014

On the heels of all the eating that took place this past Thursday, I wanted to talk about a favorite dessert of mine, So Delicious ice cream. The biggest struggle I've encountered with a dairy allergy is finding tasty desserts to eat. One night I got extremely upset just thinking about not being able to eat chocolate peanut butter ice cream again.

Lucky for me, I happened to stumble across So Delicious ice cream in Whole Foods while searching for dairy-free desserts. This company makes a variety of flavors using three types of dairy alternatives - soy milk, almond milk and coconut milk. My personal favorite is the soy milk ice cream because it tastes the most similar to real milk ice cream.

The best part about So Delicious ice creams is that they come in many different flavors. I was ecstatic to find out that they make a peanut butter zig-zag ice cream.

My fear of never having chocolate peanut butter ice cream again is over!

Jamberry Nails

Sunday, November 23, 2014

I'm a nail and cuticle bitter - it's ironic as I've always been conscious of how I dress and represent myself publicly. As everything else that's recently been featured on my blog, my cousin introduced me to Jamberry Nails - she was hosting a party on the site and suggested I buy some of the products.

I have to admit I was incredibly skeptical to click the purchase button.

Not surprisingly, I was wrong.

These nail stickers are amazing. Every time I wear them someone asks me where I got my nails done. And the best part?

They never chip!

While in Florida I tried my cousin's Jamberry dryer and loved that as well. I'm now decked out in Jamberry products - my cousin has no idea the monster she created.

When I used to paint my own nails I hated how they would sometimes bubble or smudge. Well, these nail stickers don't do that.

Now my nails are long and beautiful. I'll never say I won't be a nail and cuticle bitter again, but these nail stickers have certainly changed that habit.

If you're interested in purchasing a set of nail stickers visit Jamberry Nails and mention Fashionable Collections upon check out!

OOTD: School Girl Chic

1. Vince, 2. Abercrombie & Fitch, 3. Tory Burch, 4. Lulu Frost, 5. Madewell

I've been holding out on a very big secret - Abercrombie & Fitch is awesome
It's awesome for multiple reasons:

1. I can still fit into it (go me)!
2. It's cheap.
3. It's stylish!

That's right, Abercrombie is stylish. After I saw other bloggers wearing Abercrombie & Fitch I decided to give it a shot and now I'm sort of addicted

I wore this outfit the other day and I realized I looked like I was going to school. I hope other people felt that way because that means I've still got my young looks.

I'll take, "Oh, I thought you were in college" for as long as I can.

As a promotion for Everlane's Modern Loafer a friend and I visited their NYC showroom. I had been eyeing some Everlane goods online but never made any purchases. I was incredibly impressed with the quality of their pieces - particularly the tees.

Unfortunately the party was a madhouse, so we didn't get to try on the loafers. I do like them in the olive color, however, I'm not sure I can justify spending $165.00 dollars on them - simply because everything else from this brand is very reasonably priced.

My favorite part of the party was the floral arrangements. I have officially gathered ample inspiration for future get togethers of my own.

The Many Faces of the BF

Thursday, November 13, 2014

Every time the BF came off a ride at Disney World I would ask him, "What did you think"? "Was it scary"? And each time he'd say to me, "Nah, it wasn't. It was ok".

Well, thank you Disney World for the Memory Maker package because the BF is such a liar - and now I have it documented!

When you plan your Disney World vacation you can purchase the Disney Memory Maker for $150.00. The Memory Maker photo service allows you to be photographed at various parts of the parks.

And the icing on the cake?

All photographs taken during the rides are added to Memory Maker! After your trip the photographs become accessible online.

I was skeptical at first about the offer but it really is worth it - if only for bragging rights.
