Last night I was woken up at 2:30am by the worst sound ever, the sound of a mouse stuck to a sticky trap. My skin is crawling just remembering it.I squealed, hid under the sheets and then proceeded to lock myself in the bathroom. I am subsequently exhausted as I have not gone to bed later than 10pmET in quite some time.
This is the third mouse in three years. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's time to get out of this apartment. After the mouse was gone I let lose a long drawl of curse words that ended in, "this is the worst apartment management ever".
I can't wait to be rid of them.
On a lighter (less disturbing) note, my favorite hat returns for it's last appearance on the blog for several months. It is warming up day by day and I feel that summer is right around the corner. I'm excited to look less pale but I have to say that I will miss the layers and my sweatshirts terribly.
A true fashionista can find a way to wear things through all seasons and I plan on doing just that. Sweatshirts, don't fret! I could never leave you behind. *Photographs taken by the BF.
Hi, my name is Gaby; I don't think we've ever formally met, I live directly below you with the BF.
First off, I'd like to let you know that you've been a great neighbor. You rarely ever make noise. If you wear high heels, or loud shoes in the morning, you must walk very lightly, because we could never tell.
I hope you don't take offense to this but for some reason I think of you as a woman. If you are indeed a man, I'm sorry for the mixup.
Anyway, I might as well get out with it already, the BF and I are planning to move. I hope this doesn't come as too much of a shock to you. It's been a long time coming and I think we're finally ready. Two people in a small studio is no way to live.If you live with someone you probably know yourself as we have the same size apartment.
Upstairs Neighbor, something has been bothering me these past three years and now that we're leaving I feel like I can finally ask you. What is it that you constantly drop at night? It sounds a little bigger than a marble but definitely the same type of density. I've always been curious because you do it at least once a day and I'm just dying to know what it could possibly be.
Don't worry. You are still the best neighbor anybody could ask for. But curiosity has been eating at me for years.
Unfortunately, a $188.00 tee, (that might not fit over my bust) was not an option. On the other hand, a $12.80 shirt, from Forever 21, made of linen blend (blend being the opportune word here) was definitely up my alley.
I find that blended, loose, tops are the best solution for me, always.
