Sequin Lips

When talking about lips I think we've failed to acknowledge the best lip color of all, the sequin
Perhaps one of my favorite designers is Markus Lupfer, and while I can't afford any of his fabulous clothing, I can definitely rock the imitations

It still blows my mind that I'm occasionally asked to pick out items I'd like to style from various sites.
I had been eyeing this lip tee for quite some time and was very excited to receive it in the mail on Friday.

It's even better than I imagined.

I'm a huge fan of graphic tees and this one was the perfect addition to my collection.

Not to mention, the sequin lips match my Girl About Town lipstick.

Matching at its finest.

Sing it with me now, "three day weekend, three day weekend, three day weekend"!

This weekend the BF and I are headed to the Hamptons for some relaxation. I plan on shopping, sleeping and eating.
A pair of overalls is the perfect outfit for this type of weekend.

It doesn't get any easier than an all in one outfit.

DIY (c/o BF)

Get ready to awwww.

For Valentines day the BF signed us up for a stamping and engraving class at my fave spot, Brooklyn Charm
(awwwww)
BF: "That's right I got you both engraving and stamping because I love you".
(awwwww)
Because the BF is so manly and strong he was infinitely better at it than I was.
Even our teacher was impressed.
He stamped the pendant above and I DesignItYourself'd it into a necklace.
(awwwww)
As we're waiting on line to pay, I look down and say:

"Wow, it feels like we've been together much longer than that".
BF: "Shit, you're right, we started dating in 2009".

It's actually a better necklace now because of the error.

Time just flies when you're having fun

Spring/Winter storm it was not. Although other parts of the country were heavily impacted by yesterday's storm, NYC only had a few flurries

The craziest thing happened to me today... one minute I'm at my desk working and the next I'm watching House Hunters while running on the treadmill.
Yes, you heard right; I watch House Hunters.
And more importantly, I ran!

It happened, and it was wonderful

In an attempt to be healthier I've started making lunch, packing b-fast and lastly, working out!
My goal is to go to the gym at least three times a week.

Today was a great start.

Brooklyn Charm

Not to brag or anything but I get a lot of compliments on my jewelry.

I thought it only fair that I share a little Gaby-jewel secret with all of you.
Two words.
Brooklyn Charm.

It is the most wonderful shop in the entire world right off Bedford ave.

Feeling creative
You pick the charms and they make the necklace for you.
It's freaking genius

I think it's time I own up to something. The necklaces I label as DIY on the blog (pictured above) I designed but got made at Brooklyn Charm.
If you're giving me a break here you could interpret DIY as Design It Yourself

In this magical store, the possibilities are endless.

Everyone needs a little color in their life every once in a while.

If you're ever feeling drab just walk the streets of Brooklyn for an instant, bright-colored, pick-me-up.

It always does the trick.
