Sunglasses: Target, Sweater: American Apparel, Dress: Tibi, Shoes: Target, Bag: Chanel

I wear several brands on repeat:
1. Madewell
2. J.Crew
3. Target

So when I was approached to host a fun filled night of shopping at Madewell, how could I possibly resist?

This blog has given me the opportunity to do many exciting things, however, this may be the best yet.

Friday night, May 3rd, I will be hosting a night of shopping at Madewell on Long Island in Roosevelt Field. For those of you who can make it, I would love to meet you!
Not only will there be shopping, but there will be cupcakes too (my favorite combination).

I really hope to meet/see some of you there!

I am traumatized.

Last night I was woken up at 2:30am by the worst sound ever, the sound of a mouse stuck to a sticky trap. My skin is crawling just remembering it.I squealed, hid under the sheets and then proceeded to lock myself in the bathroom. I am subsequently exhausted as I have not gone to bed later than 10pmET in quite some time.

This is the third mouse in three years. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's time to get out of this apartment. After the mouse was gone I let lose a long drawl of curse words that ended in, "this is the worst apartment management ever".

I can't wait to be rid of them.

On a lighter (less disturbing) note, my favorite hat returns for it's last appearance on the blog for several months. It is warming up day by day and I feel that summer is right around the corner. I'm excited to look less pale but I have to say that I will miss the layers and my sweatshirts terribly.

A true fashionista can find a way to wear things through all seasons and I plan on doing just that. Sweatshirts, don't fret! I could never leave you behind.

Remember that whole sweatshirt trend that is SO last year? Well, I can't get over it.

I love it.

I want to wear sweatshirts everyday. I wish it wouldn't get hot so I wouldn't have to stop.

That's how serious this is.

So when I come across a great sweatshirt, I do a happy dance and have to share it with the world.

These Hello sweatshirts warrant a happy dance
They're soft, affordable and come in a wide range of colors.

I've already bought one and I'm hoping they come out with another pattern soon (fingers crossed).

Can you guess which one I purchased?

Dear Upstairs Neighbor,

Hi, my name is Gaby; I don't think we've ever formally met, I live directly below you with the BF.
First off, I'd like to let you know that you've been a great neighbor. You rarely ever make noise. If you wear high heels, or loud shoes in the morning, you must walk very lightly, because we could never tell.

I hope you don't take offense to this but for some reason I think of you as a woman. If you are indeed a man, I'm sorry for the mixup.

Anyway, I might as well get out with it already, the BF and I are planning to move. I hope this doesn't come as too much of a shock to you. It's been a long time coming and I think we're finally ready. Two people in a small studio is no way to live.If you live with someone you probably know yourself as we have the same size apartment.

Upstairs Neighbor, something has been bothering me these past three years and now that we're leaving I feel like I can finally ask you. What is it that you constantly drop at night? It sounds a little bigger than a marble but definitely the same type of density. I've always been curious because you do it at least once a day and I'm just dying to know what it could possibly be.

Don't worry. You are still the best neighbor anybody could ask for. But curiosity has been eating at me for years.

I look forward to solving this puzzle together.

Affectionately yours,

I am having a bicycle moment.
I saw the Equipment motorcycle print top on Cheetah is the New Black and was instantly drawn to the cheeky pattern.

Unfortunately, a $188.00 tee, (that might not fit over my bust) was not an option. On the other hand, a $12.80 shirt, from Forever 21, made of linen blend (blend being the opportune word here) was definitely up my alley.

I find that blended, loose, tops are the best solution for me, always

What's on your spring wish-list?

Hat: Rag and Bone, Jacket: Tea and Tulips, Shirt: Club Monaco, Jeans: Zara, Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim, Shoes: Aldo

We are coming close to non-winter hat season, so I figured I'd showcase some looks with my favorite hat of this winter.

The beanie had me at pom-pom.

As I power through my spring cleaning I've realized that I am not a structured hat person. However, a slouchy beanie has my name written all over it.

I wonder if my taste in hats is a synonym for my life...
Slouchy vs. Structured.

Sounds about right to me.

Another look featuring the hat of all hats will be posted Thursday night.

Until then beanie lovers
